Hollywood star Rebel Wilson and Sacha Baron Cohen, the mastermind behind famous characters like Borat and Ali G, are currently in a disagreement regarding her intention to release what he has deemed as "obviously untrue accusations" about him.

Wilson's upcoming book includes a section solely focused on Baron Cohen, according to her statement in a recent blog post.

She did not disclose the contents, however, stated that she won't allow herself to be intimidated or silenced by his legal team.

According to his representative, the assertions made by her will be contradicted by a great deal of thorough and detailed proof.

The twosome acted together in the movie Grimsby made by Baron Cohen in 2016, which had the moniker The Brothers Grimsby in North America.

The female actor from Australia took on the role of Dawn, the lover of Baron Cohen's persona named Nobby, a devoted supporter of football who becomes involved in his secret agent sibling's universe.

According to Baron Cohen, he has evidence to support his argument that includes written materials, recorded videos, and testimonies from people who have seen it firsthand.

Wilson recently shared a video on her Instagram account, revealing that her book will contain information regarding her past collaboration with an individual whom she referred to using a swear word.

The woman has decided to call the topic of the chapter "Baron Cohen." She also stated that she won't allow herself to be intimidated or forced into silence by expensive lawyers or public relations crisis managers.

She hasn't provided any more information. The release date for her book in the United States is scheduled for April 2nd.

After being accused of causing distress while filming The Brothers Grimsby, Baron Cohen's representative responded to BBC News by stating that they understand the significance of speaking out. However, they disagree with the accusations as they are not supported by proof such as contemporary documents, footage from the film, and statements from witnesses who were present before, during, and after the production.

The celebrity from Britain became popular due to his bold form of humor, which involved daring practical jokes done while pretending to be the parody gangster Ali G or the fictional Kazakh reporter Borat.

In the past, Wilson has portrayed his demeanor and mannerisms on the Grimsby set as "utterly extreme". He has mentioned how he persistently attempted to convince her to participate in nude scenes and stated that a sexual scene involving the two of them would be "absolutely revolting".

In 2014, she expressed that he persistently encourages one to incorporate humor in every scene, resulting in uproarious comedy in his work.

Wilson stated that when her novel Rebel Rising was publicized in the previous year, she compared it to confiding her innermost and darkest confessions to a companion, complete with humorous anecdotes to lighten the mood.

According to Sarah Emsley from the publishing company HarperCollins in the United Kingdom, the book is filled with honesty, wit, intellect and a strong spirit, which was exactly what she wanted to see.

She also mentioned that Rebel's talents extend beyond acting, comedy, and directing; she is also a savvy entrepreneur. It was evident from the beginning that Rebel knows precisely what actions are required to push her book to the forefront of the international bestseller charts.
