The performers shared on their social media that they both agreed to finalize their separation by submitting the necessary legal paperwork together in the past year.

The couple, who have three kids, encountered each other in 2001 and decided to get married in 2004.

They posted an update on their blog, accompanying it with a snapshot of them donning tennis attire, stating: "Following a lengthy tennis career spanning two decades or more, we have ultimately decided to retire our racquets."

On Friday, Baron Cohen and Fisher posted a message on their Instagram stories, stating that they have been silently dealing with this change and have consistently made their privacy a top priority.

We will always have a strong connection and affection towards our children. We truly value your consideration of our family's desire for privacy.

During the 1990s, Baron Cohen became famous for portraying Ali G, and he is equally well-known for his portrayals of Borat, a reporter from Kazakhstan, and Bruno, a fashion designer from Austria.

Fellow performer Fisher was a part of the cast in the durable Australian soap Home and Away before shifting to the movie industry, taking on parts in Wedding Crashers and Confessions of a Shopaholic. Additionally, she has authored a collection of books for kids.

In the previous month, Baron Cohen and Rebel Wilson, an actress from Australia, had a conflict that occurred before the publication of her memoir.

The book contains accusations against Baron Cohen, who reportedly made a threat of a lawsuit.

Wilson stated that she was requested to perform actions that were offensive towards women or regarding her body size. Furthermore, certain parts of the production made her experience belittlement and inappropriate advances towards her sexuality.

She compared the comedian to a primary school bully who teases a overweight girl on the playground and endeavours to make her existence miserable.

Baron Cohen has strongly denied any wrongdoing, stating that Wilson's account of filming his movie Grimsby in 2016 is "clearly untrue".

Originally scheduled to launch in the UK on Thursday, the memoir's release date has been postponed until the 25th of April. However, it has already made its debut in the US.
