Taylor Swift, a famous and widely-beloved musical artist, has given attention to a highly esteemed poet from the United Kingdom on her most recent album.

She sang on the title track of her album The Tortured Poets Department, stating that neither she nor her listeners are notable artists. They are simply ordinary people living in modern times, without the glamour of the famed Chelsea Hotel.

Thomas was a well-known writer from Wales and he passed away in New York when he was 39 years old in 1953. His works have gained popularity among the masses and his radio play Under Milk Wood has become one of his most renowned pieces.
