A fresh arena with a capacity of 23,500 is scheduled to open up near City's Etihad football stadium in Manchester, with the goal of drawing more events from London.

Comedian Peter Kay will be the special guest to officially open the Co-op Live venue on Tuesday. It took £365m to construct this massive arena. Before the grand opening, singer Rick Astley had the opportunity to perform a test event on Saturday.

A large, black box-shaped space was constructed by City Football Group, who is owned by the wealthy UAE royal and Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Mansour, along with Oakview Music Group, co-established by renowned US music executive, Irving Azoff.

Harry Styles put money into the stadium and provided input on certain parts of the way it's being made. People from around the area who make art, such as Liam Gallagher who was at the forefront of Oasis, Olivia Rodrigo, Take That and Eric Clapton also have plans to perform there.

Jeff, the son of Mr Azoff and his business partner, is responsible for overseeing the careers of notable artists such as Mr Styles and the popular band U2. Meanwhile, Mr Irving has been dedicatedly managing the rock band the Eagles for a remarkable 50 years.

According to Co-op, the live entertainment venue situated at 1 Sportcity Way, east Manchester on Etihad Campus, will become the biggest and most socially responsible in the United Kingdom.

The stadium managers who are in charge of hosting the MTV Europe Music Awards this year are aiming to break the trend of London being the only city that attracts the top artists from all over the world.

The place has 32 watering holes, eateries and chill-out areas and will be the biggest indoor venue in Manchester in terms of floor area.

Co-op Live has pledged to donate one million pounds annually to charitable causes through Co-op's foundation and has successfully provided 3,650 job opportunities to people in Manchester during the construction phase, according to the venue's statement.

According to Marty Edelman, who serves as a board director at City Football Group, the construction of Co-op Live is an excellent opportunity to expand the Etihad Campus into a more attractive entertainment hub that would encourage individuals from all around the globe to visit Manchester.

"Co-op Live seamlessly blends with the Etihad Campus and enhances Manchester's city centre offerings."

According to what Mr. Styles stated, he feels an immense sense of pride in joining forces with OVG to work on their upcoming project for Co-op Live.

Manchester is a superb metropolis that is rich in diversity, and I am extremely pleased to be a part of this initiative. It gives me a sense of familiarity, just like returning to my hometown. The individuals in this city are remarkable, and I enjoy working with them.
