to the success he experienced last season on the Korn Ferry Tour. Although Scottie Scheffler has won four out of five starts, he believes that his current winning streak does not match the achievement he accomplished last year on the Korn Ferry Tour.

Scottie Scheffler recently emerged as the winner of the RBC Heritage in a Monday finish, and in an interview, he was asked if he felt any sense of rivalry with Nelly Korda. This question was justified since both of them have been playing exceptionally well this spring. Scheffler has won four out of his last five TOUR starts, with a runner-up position in the other tournament. On the other hand, Nelly Korda recently created history by winning her fifth consecutive start at The Chevron Championship.

Although Schefller is currently in the midst of making history by being the only player since Tiger Woods (in 2007-2008) to achieve five consecutive top-two finishes on TOUR, he does not view his achievement as comparable to that of Woods'.

During a conversation, someone asked Scheffler if there was a competition between him and Nelly. Scheffler replied that he wasn't sure and felt that if it was a competition, Nelly was winning. She has won five times in a row, which is an amazing accomplishment. Winning four times in a row and then succeeding at a major championship is truly remarkable. Scheffler is thrilled for Nelly's success.

Scheffler made a humorous comment about Korda's T16 finish in the season opener, saying he couldn't believe she did so poorly. However, Korda has since performed exceptionally well, securing wins at the LPGA Drive On Championship, Fir Hills Seri Pak Championship, Ford Championship, T-Mobile Match Play, and The Chevron Championship within the past five weeks.

Korda has won the LPGA first major tournament of 2024 on Sunday, which led to her tying with Annika Sorenstam and Nancy Lopez's records of five consecutive LPGA wins. This accomplishment is exclusive to only a few players who have achieved this feat, including Tiger Woods, Byron Nelson, and Ben Hogan.

In different time periods, several golf champions have demonstrated impressive winning streaks. Woods, for instance, managed to win five starts in a row between 2007 and 2008, six straight between 1999 and 2000, and seven straight between 2006 and 2007. Hogan, on the other hand, triumphed in six straight starts back in 1948. However, Nelson holds the ultimate record, having won an astonishing eleven consecutive starts in 1945.

Korda's achievement in the golf world is highly regarded by many, including Scheffler. Scheffler narrowly missed matching Korda's record due to losing by just one stroke to Stephan Jaeger at the Texas Children's Houston Open last month. Other golfers, such as Wyndham Clark and J.T. Poston, have acknowledged the impressive feat and used words like "amazing" and "hard to fathom" to describe it.

In the previous autumn season, Korda collaborated with Tony Finau at the Grant Thornton Invitational mixed-team event and managed to secure a respectable fourth place. Finau was impressed with Korda's performance, which hinted at future success.

To put it simply, I admire Nelly," expressed Finau during the interview. Despite being younger than me, she's an outstanding golfer who has held the top spot in the women's golf field. I believe that many of us, even among the male players, can still learn from her."

Billy Horschel triumphed at the Corales Puntacana Championship on Sunday, securing his eighth TOUR title. He expertly navigated through the courses, surpassing Korda and Scheffler.

Horschel expressed that he once thought highly of himself when he achieved consecutive second and first-place finishes for three weeks. However, he acknowledged that the ongoing performances of Nelly and Scottie are remarkable.

It's hard for me to even imagine how impressive it is. They've been playing at an exceptional level for longer than five weeks in a row - more like six, seven, or even eight weeks. It's just incredible golf. And when you consider the competition they're up against in today's world of highly skilled players, it's even more impressive that they're able to maintain this level of play. I want to say that we won't see anything like this again, but I have a feeling we will. I have so much admiration for these players and I can't help but applaud them. As a golf fan, I feel incredibly lucky to be able to witness this kind of greatness because at the end of the day, that's what I truly am - a fan of the game.

Fans have recently observed two iconic golfers displaying exceptional performance on the course.

Scheffler expressed a desire to witness Korda's golf swing up close. She acknowledged Korda's exceptional performance, which has resulted in some commendable accomplishments. Scheffler hopes that Korda will continue to excel in her future games.
