A jury in New York is expected to make a ruling on whether or not actor Jonathan Majors, known for his roles in Marvel and Creed III, is responsible for physically attacking his former girlfriend.

Grace Jabbari stated that there was an incident in March involving Mr. Majors, who is known for his role as Kang the Conqueror in the Marvel movies, which caused her a lot of discomfort. According to her testimony, the pain was quite significant.

During the final arguments on Thursday, the attorney representing the actor labeled the statements as "falsehoods."

If found guilty of four charges of assault and harassment that are considered to be misdemeanours, Mr Majors could possibly be sentenced to a full year in jail.

If he is found guilty, it could negatively affect his career in Hollywood, as he has significant roles in two upcoming Marvel movies.

The situation started when the pair were driving in New York during March. At that time, Ms Jabbari observed a text message on Mr Majors' mobile device from a different woman. The content of the message was: "I desire to be kissing you in this moment."

As per the authorities, the British choreographer who is 30 years old, allegedly snatched the phone and proceeded to assault the victim by wrenching her arm behind her, striking her in the head to retrieve the device.

According to her, she sustained a broken finger, bruises, a wound at the back of her ear, and intense agony.

Grace Jabbari, who was spotted at the 2021 edition of London Fashion Week, served as a coach for movement on the film Ant-Man and the Wasp.

According to the Associated Press, during the final statement made by the prosecutors, they explained how the performer hit his significant other's head, resulting in her feeling disoriented and confused.

The accusers described the attack as the most recent step in Mr. Majors' effort to dominate his girlfriend by using both physical and emotional abuse.

Mr Majors, who is 34 years old, did not give any testimony. According to his lawyer, the actor was not at fault and was actually the one who was attacked by Ms Jabbari in a fit of jealousy after she saw a text message on his phone while they were in the car.

According to the lawyer of the actor, Priya Chaudhry, the prosecutors attempted to condemn a blameless individual on the grounds of inaccurate statements by Ms. Jabbari.

Ms Chaudhry observed that Ms Jabbari visited a club subsequent to the occurrence and video evidence displayed her utilizing her allegedly wounded finger.

The New York Times reported that Ms. Chaudhry said in her final statement to the jury that it is difficult to maintain consistency in your tale when you are improvising it along the way.

Jonathan Majors has acted in Marvel's Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania.

On the particular night, Mr Majors spent the night at a hotel. However, the next morning, he went back to their apartment and observed Ms Jabbari lying on the ground, unresponsive.

The man stated that he contacted the police because he was worried that the woman might have tried to end her life. His legal representative informed the court that his apprehension about the repercussions of a black man calling the emergency services in America turned out to be valid.

The former girlfriend provided evidence that she consumed a pair of sleeping medication that evening due to her agony.

Two years ago, while working as a movement coach on the set of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, Ms Jabbari crossed paths with Mr Majors.

When Mr. Majors was apprehended, Marvel postponed the debut of Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, where he was set to act as the primary antagonist.

A movie named Magazine Dreams, which was considered a potential Oscar nominee, has also been delayed from its release after the accusations.
