Dortmund vs PSG lineups: Confirmed team news, predicted XIs

PSG

Mats Hummels sustained an injury during the weekend loss to RB Leipzig, but it is believed that he will be fit and ready to play in the upcoming matches.

Donyell Malen has prepared himself for the arrival of PSG by participating in training following his absence due to a knee injury in the previous three games. Dortmund manager Edin Terzic has acknowledged that Malen is a potential candidate for the first leg. Meanwhile, Marcel Sabitzer has recuperated from his illness and is also a contender for the match.

Terzic stated in a press conference on Tuesday that Marcel and Donyell participated in the training and we anticipate having them available for us tomorrow.

"Marcel is doing well now and we require him to perform at his previous capacity as he had fallen ill earlier."

Sebastien Haller and Ramy Bensebaini are not yet available, but Dortmund is set to welcome back Emre Can and Ian Maatsen following their domestic suspensions.

PSG has been more successful in their local affairs, as evidenced by their recent victory in the Ligue 1 competition. Monaco was defeated by Lyon, leading to PSG winning the championship.

Kylian Mbappe, Lucas Hernandez, and Gianluigi Donnarumma were not included in the team for the 3-3 match against Le Havre. Nevertheless, it is likely that they will be back in the starting lineup for the next match.

It's probable that Goncalo Ramos won't play in the next game despite scoring a goal that tied the match during the end at Parc des Princes.

Presnel Kimpembe and Layvin Kurzawa did not go to Dortmund, and Sergio Rico is still unavailable.

This is the projected lineup for Borussia Dortmund in their upcoming match: Kobel as goalkeeper; Ryerson, Hummels, Schlotterbeck, and Maatsen as defenders; Sabitzer and Can as midfielders; and Sancho, Brandt, and Adeyemi as forwards. Fullkrug is also expected to play.

Expected starting lineup for PSG: Donnarumma will most likely be the goalkeeper. Hakimi, Marquinhos, Hernandez, and Mendes should feature in defence. Ugarte, Vitinha, and Ruiz are expected to play in the midfield. Dembele, Mbappe, and Barcola should be in the forward line.

Possible rewrites: - Players on the sidelines: Rico, Kimpembe, Kurzawa - The injured trio: Rico, Kimpembe, Kurzawa - Three players ruled out due to injury: Rico, Kimpembe, Kurzawa - PSG suffered losses to their lineup with Rico, Kimpembe, and Kurzawa out injured - Rico, Kimpembe, and Kurzawa are all currently nursing injuries that prevent them from playing.
