In recently released CCTV footage that was presented in court during his assault trial, Jonathan Majors can be observed engaging in a physical altercation with his ex-girlfriend Grace Jabbari, after which she chases him down a street in New York.

Last Wednesday, Judge Michael Gaffey gave permission for numerous pieces of evidence to be made public. These items included pictures, text messages, photographs, and a recording in which the Marvel actor referred to himself as a "great man."

In March, Mr Majors was detained by the police in Manhattan after being accused by Ms Jabbari of physical assault, including slapping her, forcefully pushing her to a car where she got injured, twisting her arm and hurting her hand.

The accusations against him include minor crimes such as an attack, which may lead to a one-year imprisonment if he is found guilty. Mr. Majors has refuted these claims.

On Wednesday, a comprehensive surveillance tape was also published, demonstrating the sequence of events that happened on the evening of March 25.

Grace Jabbari and Jonathan Majors were captured on camera on March 25, which is when the supposed event at the core of the performer's assault case supposedly took place.

This section of the blog shows Mr Majors and Ms Jabbari in a difficult situation where he seems to be pushing her towards a stationary black SUV. Later, they can be seen walking towards the side of the road while Ms Jabbari holds on to Mr Majors' arm.

Next, he manages to break away from her hold and dashes down Canal Street while she tries to catch up. They end up chasing each other for several blocks.

In the court, Ms Jabbari explained to the panel that the altercation started when she found out Mr Majors was unfaithful to her. She came across a text message on his phone from someone named "Cleopatra" that had a flirtatious tone.

Afterwards, in different security camera recordings, Ms Jabbari is spotted with a bunch of others near a shop as Mr Majors strolls by. She persists in trailing him.

Both individuals were spotted at different times at the Mark Hotel, located in the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Mr. Majors was observed conversing on his mobile device before two law enforcement officials arrived and led him away.

After some time, the officials come back and accompany Ms Jabbari out of the hotel.

The previous week, Judge Gaffey instructed lawyers not to call Ms Jabbari "the victim", but they can use the phrase "the victim of X action."

According to Judge Gaffey's decision, the defence team has permission to address Ms Jabbari's previous detention. This happened after Mr Majors submitted a counter-accusation against her in June, claiming she had attacked him.

The arrest of her was backed by the New York City Police Department, but the Manhattan District Attorney's Office chose not to continue with the proceedings against her in the end.

The court case was anticipated to take fourteen days but it might continue for another week, based on the amount of witnesses the defense requests to testify.
