The man who is 34 years old was at risk of being imprisoned for a maximum of 12 months after being found guilty of committing an assault that is a minor criminal offence. Additionally, he was also found guilty of violating a regulation against harassing someone. The judgment was given by a group of people chosen to decide on the case in Manhattan, which is a borough in New York City, in December.

However, Judge Michael Gaffey pointed out that both parties involved in the lawsuit concurred that the accusations were not severe enough to result in incarceration.

According to his statement, Majors is required to finish a 52-week program that addresses domestic violence in Los Angeles, where the actor is currently residing. The program must be attended in person.

According to his lawyers, he must continue receiving mental healthcare treatment.

Majors is a rising talent in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He has appeared in the popular TV series Loki and the upcoming film Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania.

He was given the role of Kang the Conqueror, which was supposed to become a recurring villain in the entertainment company's movies and television shows for a long time. However, it has been abandoned now.

Majors appeared for his sentencing with his current romantic partner, Meagan Good, who is an actress. He chose not to communicate with the court and departed without speaking to any journalists.

According to his attorney, Priya Chaudhry, he will comply with the judge's ruling. However, he is still assertive about his innocence and intends to challenge the decision.

The accusations made against the performer originated from a conflict that emerged between him and his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari, who hails from Britain, while they were traveling in the rear seats of a vehicle in New York City, during March of the year 2023.

Ms. Jabbari, who is a dancer and 31 years old, alleged that Majors assaulted her in the car, which caused her immense pain. She claimed that he struck her head with his open palm, twisted her arm behind her back, and crushed her middle finger to the point of fracturing it.

"He is likely to repeat this action."

During his sentencing on Monday, a victim shared a statement in court expressing how the incident caused her immense mental and physical suffering.

Struggling to hold back her emotions, she expressed, "He doesn't feel remorseful. He hasn't taken accountability for his actions. He's likely to repeat his behavior and harm other women. He holds the belief that rules don't apply to him."

While in court, Majors argued that it was actually Ms Jabbari who was the one to initiate the altercation, citing her being consumed with jealousy after having read a text message from another female on his mobile device. According to him, he was merely attempting to retrieve his phone and remove himself from the situation without causing harm.

After a trial, the jury found him responsible for two charges. However, he was not found guilty of another assault charge or aggravated harassment.

Soon after the decision was made, a representative from Marvel, which is under the ownership of Disney, declared that the individual would not be included in any upcoming endeavors.

Initially, he was set to receive his sentence in February, but his legal representatives filed a request to invalidate his conviction. Unfortunately, the motion was rejected just recently.
