Roberto Cavalli, the famous Italian fashion designer recognized for his distinctive animal patterns imprinted on leather and fabrics, has passed away at the age of 83.

The apparel company that has his moniker declared the passing on Instagram, albeit without any specifics.

Reports from the Italian news agency ANSA have stated that he passed away in his residence in Florence after enduring a lengthy period of illness.

During the 1970s, he founded his own business and created fashionable clothing. Celebrities such as Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Kim Kardashian, and Jennifer Lopez have all endorsed and presented his designs.

Fausto Puglisi, the creative director of Roberto Cavalli, stated that the designer will remain an exemplary figure who will inspire others.

On the Instagram page of the fashion company, Mr. Puglisi expressed that collaborating with Cavalli was the pinnacle of his professional achievement.

Roberto Cavalli gained fame for his lavish and vibrant creations.

Cavalli came into this world on the 15th of November in the year 1940, in the lovely city of Florence which is recognized for its top-notch leather craftsmanship.

He established his own fashion brand in 1970 and subsequently developed a pioneering method of printing leather, which he later patented.

In 1972, Cavalli established his first petite boutique named Limbo in the charming city of Saint-Tropez, France.

In addition to his use of animal patterns, he gained recognition for his hippie style dresses, pants that had undergone sand-blasting, and the incorporation of patchwork onto denim fabrics.

Back in 2005, he was selected to modify and modernize the revealing attire of the Playboy Bunnies. He even unveiled a variation that was adorned with leopard print.

In a 2011 interview with Vogue, Cavalli explained that his designs are inspired by nature as he is fond of everything that has to do with animals. This is why he incorporates animal prints in his clothing creations.

He continued to share with the publication that he came to the realization of the beautiful colors adorned by even sea creatures, as well as snakes and tigers. He then understood that God's creations possessed the ultimate designs, and thus he began to imitate them.

He described Roberto as a creative and daring fashion designer who had an exceptional talent for incorporating vibrant prints into his designs, often turning his surreal imagination into alluring garments.
