On Instagram, the CEO Sergio Azzolari conveyed the sympathies of the Roberto Cavalli brand to the family of Mr. Cavalli who have suffered a loss.

According to ANSA, Cavalli, the creator of his own fashion brand during the 1970s, has passed away at his residence in Florence.

He was sick for quite a while and his overall health had gotten a lot worse lately, according to the statement.

Cavalli was popular for his clothing designs that featured animal patterns. Celebrities such as Brigitte Bardot, Sophia Loren, Beyonce, Jennifer Lopez, Kim Kardashian, and Taylor Swift have all been seen wearing his clothes.

In his designs, he utilized vivid hues and combined different fabric pieces together, while sporting colored glasses and puffing on a cigar.

The establishment he initiated vends high-end apparel, purses, footwear, and fragrances.

According to reports from Italian media, the funeral ceremony for Cavalli is scheduled to take place in Florence on Monday.

On Instagram, the company expressed immense sorrow as they bid their final farewell to their founder, Roberto Cavalli.

Roberto started small in Florence, but he managed to establish himself as a renowned and admired figure worldwide.

Roberto had a natural gift for creativity and believed that anyone could unlock their own artistic potential. He will be remembered for his innovative spirit, appreciation of the environment, and the affection he held for his loved ones.

The Green Carpet Fashion Awards held in Los Angeles saw the famous American actress Zendaya donning a stylish creation from the fashion brand Cavalli.

On X, the Armani account shared a post where designer Giorgio Armani stated that he holds a great amount of respect for Roberto Cavalli despite having entirely distinct visions for fashion. According to Armani, Cavalli was an exceptional artist who was unafraid to use bold prints and transform imagination into enticing garments.

I have received news of his death with immense sadness: his lively Tuscan spirit will be deeply missed.

In a post on X, Jennifer Hudson, a performer and artist from the United States, expressed her admiration for fashion designer Roberto Cavalli. According to her, he has always been one of her preferred designers. She also stated that he is genuinely considered an artist in every sense of the term.

"He enhanced the world's beauty during his time here and his absence will be deeply felt. May he find eternal rest."

He leaves behind his six kids and his significant other, Sandra Bergman Nilsson.
