IPL 2024 results: Will Jacks hits unbeaten century as Royal Challengers Bangalore beat Gujarat Titans

The Royal Challengers Bangalore team scored 206 runs with only one wicket lost in 16 overs. The talented player Jacks hit a century, remaining undefeated at 100 runs from 41 balls. Meanwhile, captain Kohli also contributed well with his 70 runs off 44 balls.

In pursuit of a victory target of 201 runs, Jacks hit the ball powerfully by smashing 10 sixes and five fours, which allowed RCB to surpass the required score with four overs remaining.
Jacks hit a whopping 28 runs in just one over against Rashid Khan, hitting four sixes. He then partnered with Virat Kohli for an impressive 166-run unbeaten stand.
Kohli's score was 70 runs while he remained unbeaten for 44 deliveries during RCB's innings, which ended at 206-1.
The Gujarat Titans scored 200-3 in their 20 overs in advance, with 84 runs coming from Sai Sudharsan, who had the highest score.
Since 2022, Jacks has played in six T20 and four one-day international matches representing England.
On Tuesday, England is set to reveal a list of 15 players in their provisional squad for their T20 World Cup championship defense.
Jacks, who is new to the IPL, has become the third English batsman to achieve a century in this year's tournament, following in the footsteps of Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow.

Sudarshan and Shahrukh Khan teamed up for an impressive score of 86 runs, while also adding another 69 runs with David Miller from South Africa, leading Gujarat towards a commendable total.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore experienced a setback when Faf du Plessis was dismissed at a score of 40-1. However, Jacks and Kohli synergized effectively and Kohli reached his half-century after facing 32 balls before his teammate took over the mantle.
Jacks crushed 31 balls to score fifty, but he managed to complete his century by smashing a six off Rashid, a spinner from Afghanistan, in just 10 deliveries. His amazing hitting performance left everyone in awe.
Even though RCB secured a triumph, they maintain their position at the bottom of the standings, having only won three out of ten games. Meanwhile, Gujarat currently hold the seventh spot.
