Target stopped selling some of its Pride Month products due to rude customers. Some customers created problems for Target staff.

Target stated that their team members have felt unsafe and their well-being compromised while at work, due to threats received since the introduction of this year's collection.

People are hurting Target's Pride Month displays. They are also talking bad about Target. They don't like that Target is offering LGBT+ clothes.

The company made a bathing suit that is good for tucking. They also made greeting cards that include everyone.

The Wall Street Journal heard from a Target spokesperson. They said that many mad customers made threats on social media. Some even made videos inside Target stores. Workers were also confronted.

Target said they will make changes to their plans because things are not stable. They will remove things that cause big problems. The company wants to support the LGBTQIA+ community during Pride Month and beyond.

Target was contacted by The Independent for comment.

Target is good at giving inclusive clothes during Pride Month. They start selling products early (in May) for Pride Month (which is in June).

. The company's decision to remove merchandise because of criticism has disappointed many.

Sean Collins spoke to Target's customer service (1-800-440-0680). He explained that he can't shop at a place supporting hate groups, as he is the parent of a queer child who has felt a lot of pride from their merchandise. The rep started crying, and so did Sean.

Jon Cooper expressed disappointment in Target for removing Pride Month displays due to threats of violence from anti-LGBTQ people. He questioned if Target would also remove displays celebrating Black History Month if they were attacked by extremists.

Kelley Robinson, President of the Human Rights Campaign, made a statement. Robinson asked Target to support the LGBTQ+ Community. Robinson wants Target to be firm in their support.

Ms. Robin said that Target shouldn't be too quick to react to criticism and threats from groups like the Proud Boys.

Groups that are extremist want to split us apart and make us vanish, not just rainbow products. Target has celebrated Pride with the LGBTQ+ community for ten years and now it's crucial for them to support us even more.

Some Democrat politicians didn't like Target's decision.

Target's CEO, Brian Cornell, is betraying the LGBTQ+ community to extremists. This is happening not just in a few stores in the South, but all over the country. California Governor Gavin Newsom tweeted about this, saying that it's a serious problem and takes real courage to stand up against it.
