Roman Kemp has disclosed that he will be resigning from his role as the host of Capital Breakfast show, ten years after his initial broadcast for the network.

The well-known host declared his departure on a live show with genuine sentiment. He announced that his final program would be aired on 28 March.

I can give you a heads up that I'm not bidding adieu at the moment nor am I departing from the show today and concluding my stint, however, it's on the horizon," Kemp, who is 31 years old, informed the audience.

The farewell is approaching and it will happen within the next five to six weeks. This wasn't a last-minute choice; instead, it's been a challenging and significant decision.

"My family is Capital, and I'm grateful for all the supportive listeners like you who have been with me through my highs and lows. Thanks to Capital and Global, I have transformed into a better version of myself."

Kemp, the offspring of Spandau Ballet's leading figure Martin Kemp and singer Shirlie Holliman, began his journey at Capital when he was 22. He expressed that his journey with the radio station had constructed him into the personality he is today.

"I believe that it's time for me to leave and move forward," he concluded.
