Roman Kemp had to refute claims that his recent mix-up with a Creme Egg was a practical joke.

On Monday, 20th March, the DJ from Capital Radio shared that he discovered a mixed type of the Cadbury delicacy. Specifically, one part of the snack contained milk chocolate while the other part held white chocolate.

He posted a picture of the Egg on Twitter and wrote, "What exactly is this? Is it a mixture of half white and half milk chocolate?"

Afterward, his supporters let him know that the Creme Egg he had eaten was a part of a marketing campaign where he could have potentially won up to £10,000. Nevertheless, the DJ admitted to consuming it prior to publishing the tweet.

There are six eggs that have a value of £10,000 and three that have a value of £5,000. If a person discovers one of these eggs, they must take a photograph with the egg that has not been consumed to claim their prize money.

Upon acknowledging the mistake, Kemp received a flood of comments alleging that he had been employed by Cadbury to support the restricted Easter scavenger hunt.

Kemp has admitted that it may appear as though he endorses many products due to his frequent appearances in advertisements. Nevertheless, he has maintained that this assumption is false.

The speaker took to Twitter soon after the initial post and expressed, "I desire that this would have been a commercial."

Later, he included: "Individuals are suggesting that it's a joke or that I've altered it with correction fluid. I truly wish they were not."

During his Capital show on March 20th, Kemp addressed the accusation of a prank. He explained that when he mentions a brand on the show, people often mistake it for an advertisement. This is because he does many advertisements, which is not a problem.

“Believe it or not, it is true that I have consumed an egg valued at £10,000.”

Roman Kemp refutes the allegations of pulling a prank following a mishap that led to a substantial financial loss over Cadbury Creme Eggs.

Kemp is not the sole individual who mistakenly ate a Creme Egg. Recently, another unfortunate customer reported having made the identical error.
