Nigel Harman is a famous personality who is well-known for his outstanding work in his profession. He has accomplished immense success in his field, and his talent has been well-appreciated by many. The blog post highlights his achievements and the awards he has earned for his excellent work. It also mentions his dedication and hard work towards his career, which has helped him reach great heights.

According to Nigel Harman, he has a routine of doing the weekly Strictly Come Dancing before going back to sleep when he wakes up in the middle of the night.

The actor who features in Casualty, aged 50, has been paired up with expert dancer Katya Jones for the current season of the BBC One program.

When questioned about the most challenging aspect of participating in competitions, Harman, who had once acted in EastEnders, responded, "I typically wake up at 2 AM on Fridays, right in the middle of my dance performance, as the weekend approaches."

As you are aware, we usually wake up in the morning during our REM sleep after completing four-hour cycles. During this time, I find myself in the midst of a dance and struggle to fall asleep again for around 30 minutes.

Essentially, I have to perform my dance routine while lying in bed several times until my body relaxes and says, "You still know the steps, everything is fine." After that, I am able to fall back asleep.

"That's the issue because honestly, all I desire to do during my downtime from dancing is rest."

Jones stated that Harman has messaged her "a few times" to confirm the schedule, which enables him to go back to sleep comfortably after waking up in the middle of the night.

According to Harman, he doesn't worry or get scared about how the judges will score him as that is their responsibility and not his. All he can do is focus on his dancing without trying to affect their decision.

He expressed his amazement at how friendly and affectionate the contestants and production crew of Strictly have been, which caught him off guard.

Harman stated: "There is a particular level of stress involved when performing in this place because you are acquiring knowledge which would not typically be part of your usual learning process."

Typically, I only go on stage after months of preparation and years of experience. However, recently I've found pleasure in the last few weeks where my anxiousness has taken control of my performance.

I found it very interesting and my feelings towards it are not really nervousness, but rather an excitement and rush of adrenaline. I am becoming accustomed to these sensations and there is a part of me that now anticipates Saturday nights, wondering what that energy will bring.

Regarding our emotional and mental well-being, I find it fascinating and thrilling to explore. I have been actively practicing meditation to enhance this aspect of my life, which has proven to be enormously beneficial. It's one of the unexpected benefits of being a part of the show; you get to learn more about yourself and how to cope in a high-stress environment.
