Strictly Come Dancing fans go wild for Nigel Harman foxtrot despite Katya kick

Nigel Harman expressed his satisfaction with the positive response from the audience towards Strictly Come Dancing during the fifth week.

This week, an actor known for their role in Casualty and their past appearances in EastEnders participated in BBC One's dance competition. They danced a foxtrot alongside their skilled partner, Katya Jones.

The duo delivered a sensual rendition of the Etta James hit "I Just Want To Make Love To You" in a retro-style bar setup. This song is well-known for being featured in Diet Coke commercials.

During the show, an error occurred where Nigel Harman accidentally kicked Katya's leg. This mishap may not have been noticed by the audience at home, but it was noticed by the judges.

When the duo was evaluated, they were complimented by the judges, but Anton Du Beke mentioned that he couldn't score them as high due to the error they made.

Ultimately, Nigel and Katya received a commendable 29 points from the Strictly judges, with Craig Revel-Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas all giving them seven points each, and Anton awarding them eight points.

Nonetheless, some individuals remained unconvinced regarding Nigel and Katya's presentation during the fifth week of this season.
