The Israeli police have reported that Itamar Ben-Gvir, who serves as the country's National Security Minister on the far-right, has sustained minor injuries and has been transported to a hospital after being involved in a vehicular collision.

Video clips circulating on social networking sites displayed a vehicle which had turned upside down.

According to the authorities, the event is being examined as two additional individuals were harmed, and details are yet to be disclosed.

According to reports in the Israeli media, Mr. Ben-Gvir was on his way back from the site of a stabbing incident that took place in the city of Ramle, which is situated in close proximity to Tel Aviv.

The emergency services reported that a 19-year-old lady received severe injuries from the occurrence. Avi Biton, the chief of the police in the central district, revealed that a man, who apparently had mental problems, had assaulted the lady before a citizen disarmed him by shooting him down.

Mr. Ben-Gvir is a member of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's emergency government who has sparked debate and controversy.

Israel's leader has urged for a complete and thorough military reaction in response to Iran's attack on Israel through missiles and drones. This attack was triggered by Israel's own attack, which resulted in the death of notable Iranian military personnel in the Iranian consulate in Syria.

Mr. Ben-Gvir has expressed his desire to move the Palestinians out of Gaza and backed the suggestion of rebuilding Jewish settlements in the area.

According to reports, Itamar Ben-Gvir was only slightly hurt in the incident (photograph from the archives).
