According to a report from "Page Six" on April 26, Angelina Jolie is challenging Brad Pitt's request for NDAs during their long-standing winery dispute. Jolie's lawyers are claiming that Pitt's attempt to obtain Jolie's NDAs from third parties is an invasion of privacy and an abusive effort to silence her. Earlier this month, Pitt's lawyers asked the L.A. Superior Court to disclose the NDAs and other confidential information to shed light on whether Jolie's NDA request was the reason behind her selling her vineyard shares to a Russian oligarch. Pitt initially sued Jolie over the sale of their $500 million winery, Château Miraval, in 2022.

Jolie's lawyers had stated in the past that Pitt insisted on her signing a difficult and inclusive non-disclosure agreement (NDA) that would encompass Pitt's personal misbehavior, regardless of whether it was linked to Miraval or not. The NDA would have included allegations of abuse that took place during a plane incident in 2016. Pitt had made this demand in exchange for Jolie agreeing to sell her shares in Miraval to him. However, the disagreement over the NDA led to the deal falling apart, prompting Jolie to sell her shares elsewhere.

According to a new filing made by Jolie's legal team, Pitt's requests are an invasion of her privacy. The requests are looking for contracts between Jolie and others, which mostly include employment-related agreements and compensation details. Jolie's lawyers argue that it is unreasonable and costly for her to gather all this information and that it is another instance of Pitt's abusive conduct. They are urging the court to reject these requests.

In 2008, Brangelina bought a 1,200-acre vineyard which became popular. They got married in the chapel of the Château six years later. However, the couple ended up divorcing in 2019. The arguments about the property brought up accusations of abuse against Pitt, where the documents explain the physical abuse that Jolie and their kids went through on a plane in 2016.
