Thanet Roadrunner smashes club record in London Marathon

A group of 12 runners from the Thanet Roadrunners team participated in the popular and well-known London Marathon on April 21st.

Jack Bradley had a goal to surpass the Thanet Roadrunners club's top achievement. This was a big challenge, considering the club has been sending skilled runners to London for over four decades.

Jack did exceptionally well and completed the 26.2 mile course in an impressive time of 2:36:01. He managed to break the Thanet Roadrunners club record by cutting more than 50 seconds off it.

Pete Heath, the chairman of the club, expressed his pride in Jack's accomplishments, specifically in achieving the fastest time in over 40 years of the club's existence. Not only is Jack a remarkable athlete, but he is also a kind person who motivates and assists others.

The day was filled with numerous outstanding displays and an incredible ambiance.
