The most amazing summer event, Capital's Summertime Ball with Barclaycard, is back and is jam-packed with famous personalities!

The largest summer celebration in the UK is coming back to Wembley Stadium for another fantastic event. 80,000 fans of Capital radio and a fantastic range of the world's most popular artists will gather at the iconic London venue on Sunday, June 16th, 2024.

The Capital's Summertime Ball with Barclaycard on June 16th has more famous artists joining the lineup. Jordan North, Chris Stark, and Sian Welby announced the addition of RAYE, Meghan Trainor, Becky Hill, Aitch, Sugababes, Ella Henderson, and Paul Russell during Capital Breakfast this morning. Yesterday, it was also announced that David Guetta, Perrie, Sabrina Carpenter, Benson Boone, Rudimental, Jax Jones, Bradley Simpson, and Caity Baser will also be performing.

RAYE, a singer-songwriter from Britain, who has won the prestigious BRIT Award six times and the Global Award four times, will be performing at the Ball. RAYE's popularity has skyrocketed in the past year with chart-topping hits such as 'PRADA' featuring Cassö and D-Block Europe and 'Escapism.' Capital listeners are in for a real treat with her upcoming performance at the Ball destined to be a big hit.

This morning, Capital announced that Meghan Trainor, a multi-award-winning global music superstar, will be performing at Capital's Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Meghan Trainor is no stranger to the Ball, having previously performed in 2015, and she is set to make a much-anticipated return this Summer. Meghan Trainor first rose to fame in 2014 with her debut single 'All About That Bass', which propelled her into stardom. Since then, she has released numerous chart-topping hits, including 'Made You Look', 'Dear Future Husband', and 'No', and has received many prestigious awards. Meghan has collaborated with several prominent artists, including John Legend, Nicki Minaj, Sigala, Charlie Puth, Teddy Swims, and Jason Derulo.

Becky Hill, an admired artist in the capital, will start the celebration at Wembley when she performs her hit dance-pop songs. Becky Hill is a notable figure in the UK music scene and has an amazing upcoming year where she will do her largest headline shows that will cover the nation with an arena tour leading up to her highly awaited second album. She has won the highly coveted BRIT Award twice and has joined forces with big names in music industry such as David Guetta, Chase & Status, Tiësto, and Netsky.

Aitch, who won the BRIT Award for his rapping skills, is all set to perform at the Ball. He was born in Manchester and has gained a lot of popularity over time with his impressive music creations that include hit songs like 'Psycho' with Anne-Marie, 'My G' with Ed Sheeran, and 'Bamba' with fellow rappers Luciana and BIA. Aitch has a massive fan following who are eagerly waiting to witness his performance at the Ball.

The Bunch of Sugar Ladies, aka Sugababes, will grace the Ball with their iconic sound from the 2000s. Formed in '98, they made a spectacular comeback last year and are all set to hit the stage at various festivals and concerts this summer. And, as if that wasn't enough, they're also gearing up to drop a new album!

The Capital Summertime Ball with Barclaycard will feature the talented singer-songwriter Ella Henderson. Throughout her career, Ella Henderson has worked with some of the biggest names in the music industry, such as David Guetta, Becky Hill, Nathan Dawe, and Jax Jones. She recently dropped a new single called "Alibi" with Rudimental, which quickly climbed to the top spot of the Official Big Top 40 chart by Global.

Paul Russell, the talented American musician known for the popular track ‘Lil Boo Thang’, will be performing at Capital’s Summertime Ball with Barclaycard. Fans of Paul Russell can expect to be entertained by his upbeat music as he takes the stage at Wembley Stadium, making it an unforgettable event. This is a great opportunity for Capital listeners to enjoy his amazing tracks live.
