Francis Ngannou, who is a mixed martial artist and boxer, has sadly announced in a post on social media that his 15-month-old son Kobe has passed away.

On Monday evening, the fighter who is 37 years old shared a picture of his son on X. He also mentioned that Kobe's death was on Saturday 27th of April.

It is early to depart, but he has already left," penned Ngannou in the article.

My young son, my buddy, my companion Kobe used to be so lively and cheerful. However, now he is lying motionless. I called out to him repeatedly, but he remained unresponsive.

I used to feel like I was the greatest version of myself when I was with him, but now I'm completely lost. It's really unjust how life always seems to strike us in the places that hurt the most.

"What's the way to manage this matter? How can one cope with it?"

One of Conor McGregor's fellow UFC fighters shared a message of sympathy.

"I feel extremely disappointed after reading this, Francis," penned McGregor.

I can't even begin to fathom the agony you must be experiencing at the moment. It's devastating news and I sincerely apologize for your loss. I'm hoping that God has reserved the most secure and peaceful place for him in heaven until you reunite once more.

Eric Nicksick, the coach of the French-Cameroonian fighter, also shared his sympathies. He said that the past few days have been difficult, and it's hard to convey just how much sorrow we all feel for the Ngannou family.

Kindly remember Francis and his loved ones in your thoughts, and let it serve as a lesson on how delicate life can be. Express your affection frequently by saying, "I love you," as there's no certainty of tomorrow.
