In summary, the article discusses the increasing trend of people applying for firework licences in the West Midlands, and emphasizes the need to stay safe while using fireworks during the upcoming festive season.

Amber Sandhu from the BBC will run the London Marathon to support the charity of Wolverhampton Wanderers, called the Wolves Foundation.

In December, the Asian Network host was appointed as an advocate for the group.

The individual who is 26 years old and lives in Tettenhall expressed that last week they felt very nervous. However, They are now eager to reach the starting line on Sunday.

Ms Sandhu revealed that her close ones will encourage her, but what motivates her to reach the end is the prospect of getting a pizza.

To be truthful, the idea of having pizza in the end is what's motivating me," she expressed.

"I have already made a reservation for accommodation once the race is over, which will assist me in handling any challenging circumstances."

Ms Sandhu had the goal of collecting £1,000 for the foundation, but she had actually surpassed her goal with extra days in hand.

The Wolves Foundation is contributing to their community in an amazing way. They have launched their "Goalden Times" program, which aims to help people who are feeling isolated or lonely during the pandemic. The program connects volunteers from the foundation with individuals who are feeling isolated and who would benefit from a friendly phone call. The volunteers will call individuals once a week and have a chat, listening to any issues or concerns they might have and providing a friendly ear. This is an incredible initiative by the Wolves Foundation, and it's great to see them making a positive impact in their community during tough times.

During the race, the speaker mentioned that pizza would be one of the things that would help her persevere.

After observing the marathon in London last year, a friend at work named Megan Jones managed to convince her to participate in the same event.

Thanks to Megan, we both put in applications. However, considering the overwhelming number of applicants, I never imagined that Amber from Wolverhampton would be selected."

I managed to succeed while sadly, Megan wasn't able to achieve the same outcome. Nonetheless, I believe she feels a bit relieved after realizing the extensive amount of training I had to go through.

During the Covid lockdowns, Ms Sandhu began running and gradually built up her stamina to run distances as long as 10 kilometers. However, she is fully aware that the upcoming event on Sunday will prove to be a significant challenge and require her to push herself even further.

Ms Sandhu expressed that if she had been spoken to last week, she would have been very nervous and worried about disappointing others.

However, when Monday morning arrived, I felt a surge of enthusiasm. This chance is too incredible to waste, and I plan to take full advantage of it.
