It has been reported that resale tickets for Glastonbury have been completely purchased within a matter of 22 minutes. This unfortunate news has caused disappointment for many loyal fans who were unsuccessful in obtaining tickets for the upcoming event at Worthy Farm.

Music festival enthusiasts, who were unable to purchase tickets during the initial launch in November 2023, were given a second chance at securing tickets when they went up for sale again at 9am on Sunday, 21st of April.

The planned sale was postponed in the beginning because of technical problems. The vendor, See Tickets, advised customers to refresh the page to see if any failed transactions were back on sale.

However, the sale was brief because, only a mere eight minutes after instructing potential purchasers to refresh the website, the firm disclosed that tickets for the festival were no longer available.

Tickets to the Glastonbury Festival in 2024 are no longer available. The organizers have sent confirmation emails to those who managed to purchase their tickets this morning. We would like to extend our gratitude to everyone who was able to secure their slot and apologies to those who failed to grab their chance. This announcement was made by See Tickets on their Twitter account.

Attending the 2024 festival requires a payment of £355 per individual along with a £5 charge for booking, which is higher than the £335 cost for the previous year's event.

One music enthusiast, who had been attempting to attend the festival for many years, shared that they haven't been successful even once and it has been extremely disheartening for them.

One person condemned the system as "utterly weak," while some viewed it as "totally pointless, taking up my entire morning."

However, the situation wasn't entirely hopeless as a few fortunate purchasers managed to obtain the hard-to-find tickets.

"I am grateful to the Glastonbury deities for allowing my companions to join me," expressed a contented patron.

Someone else seems to have managed to obtain numerous tickets and stated, "I've managed to make arrangements for three groups, which easily adds up to 12 tickets."

This year's lineup at Worthy Farm features Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA as the main performers, while the esteemed country-pop icon Shania Twain will be taking the Legends' spot.

The poster showing the performers for the event presents that LCD Soundsystem, Little Simz, Cyndi Lauper, and Janelle Monae will be performing on the Pyramid Stage in the afternoon and evening times. Additionally, the main stage will feature other artists such as Burna Boy, PJ Harvey, Michael Kiwanuka, and Paloma Faith.

When the sale for the annual event that happens at Worthy Farm located in Somerset from the 26th until the 30th of June started back in November last year, the tickets for the general public sold out within 60 minutes.

Apart from buying tickets on the general sale, there is another fabulous opportunity to gain entry to Glastonbury by volunteering. The chance to register as a volunteer for the charity organizations WaterAid and Oxfam has ended, but there might be instances where spots become vacant due to cancellations.

Greenpeace is still accepting registrations for volunteers. If you're chosen, you'll get complimentary admission to the festival and three daily meals. In exchange, you'll be required to complete a minimum of five eight-hour shifts during the festival period which runs from June 25th to July 1st.
