Capote Vs The Swans: A Bitter Rivalry

Some swans cannot handle the burden of their elaborate and unnecessary feathers. Truman Capote, who was part of and wrote about the elite community of New York City in the 1960s, knew all too well the joys and dangers of this over-the-top way of life. However, when he exposed the secrets of this glamorous but shady group in a book, Capote faced the downfall of his own world as his writing aspirations clashed with his personal connections. Ryan Murphy's new series features Tom Hollander as Capote, and includes Chloë Sevigny, Naomi Watts, Calista Flockhart, and Jessica Lange as the vulnerable "swans". The show presents an introspective and surreal portrait of an imperfect and delicate man who could only mask his flaws with his charm. The series will be available on Apple TV+ starting from Wednesday, 17 April.

This four-part series explores the various connections within nature, brought to you by the Emmy-winning team who produced Netflix's Our Great National Parks. Discover how creatures living at the depths of the ocean are related to the animals soaring across the plains. Marvel at the repeated patterns found across landscapes spanning from the Arctic to Africa. While visually stunning and intimate in its portrayal, it does fall short in the academic depth found in similar programs produced by the BBC. Cate Blanchett, who has an interest in interconnected ecosystems as a beekeeper, provides the voiceover for this series. Available on Netflix starting from Wednesday, April 17th.

The blog discusses the story of two sisters, Nina (played by Ashley Storrie) and Evie (played by Kat Ronney), who live together. Nina works at a museum during the day, and at night they have a strict routine that includes watching TV together and ordering takeout food. One day, Evie shocks Nina by revealing her engagement to a man named Ranesh, who refers to Nina as "Neens" and talks about Evie's self-actualization. Nina is upset, but the show cleverly depicts her behavior as a result of her need for structure and fear of being abandoned. Despite the serious subject matter, the sitcom contains plenty of humor to balance out the emotional moments. You can watch it on BBC iPlayer starting from Sunday 14 April.

Bluey has released a new episode which is 28 minutes long. This Australian cartoon is very popular with kids. The new episode is like a three-album prog rock epic. The Heeler family is going through changes, which can be difficult for young children. However, they handle it very well. There is a wedding and Socks has a bigger role with more speaking parts. The episode is sweet, funny, and enjoyable as always. You can see it on Disney+ starting on Sunday, April 14th.

- Embrace The Game

A fresh reality TV program has hit the screens, where competing individuals are oblivious to the rules but are determined to win €150,000. This is not uncommon for a platform that consistently offers harsh reality shows. This latest one features a pack of young French participants abandoned on a beach and given modest camping facilities. Meanwhile, a luxurious mansion lies on a hilltop where the true competition is held; however, only a handful can reach this level. The challenge involves strategy and deceit, overseen by Claude Dartois. You can catch this new Netflix series starting from Wednesday, 17th April.

The new version of classic children's stories available on Netflix is both captivating and sometimes chilling. This anime adaptation comes from the point of view of Charlotte, the sister of the Grimm brothers, and she gives us a fresh take on these familiar tales. For example, the story of Cinderella is far from the innocent version we know, and Little Red Riding Hood has a both flashy and ominous vibe. It's an unconventional and engaging series, and it's clear that not all characters will have a fairytale ending. This exciting new series can be streamed on Netflix starting April 17th.

Tyler Cameron Takes You Home

"I should have continued modeling instead." The newest property show mainly involves flexing one's biceps and using a sledgehammer to destroy walls. Tyler Cameron, who previously appeared on The Bachelorette, returns to his hometown in Florida to establish a construction and renovation company. It's quite touching because it was his mother's sudden passing that sparked the brave decision, and his first project is renovating her home. Every episode features Cameron revealing a completed project with the assistance of house-flipping expert Robb Ritch and interior designer Jessica Quintero. The show debuts on Prime Video on Thursday, 18th of April.
