Dancing on Ice fans have spotted what they believe is a 'secret feud' between pro-skater Vanessa Bauer and her partner Joey Essex after she was filmed not looking too happy with the reality star following their final performance on the ITV show.

Viewers said the 26-year-old looked "fuming" after the pair took to the ice for the iconic bolero, with the former TOWIE star losing out to gymnast Nile Wilson and partner Olivia Smart in the final on Sunday.

Earlier in the show The Vivienne was eliminated from the final, leaving Nile and Joey to battle it out on the rink for the trophy.

Speaking after Nile's win was announced, Joey admitted he missed a few steps, saying: "I am so happy for Nile and Olivia – I know I missed a few steps. Best time of my life, thank you to everyone."

Reports of a romance between Joey and Vanessa have been a hot topic of discussion over the last few months, but Sunday night's show was all about the competition, with it being no secret Vanessa is a competitive performer who cracks down hard on her partners.

Fans picked up on how Vanessa appeared to be telling Joey what to do during the Bolero and looked miffed afterwards.

One viewer said on Twitter : "Vanessa looks p***ed off after the Bolero #dancingonice."

"Joeys journey has been fantastic but for me Nile is the clear winner tonight."

One said: "Vanessa is looking epically p***ed off as Joey breaks under pressure!"

Another, referring to the moment Nile's win was announced, said: "The look on Vanessa face when her name wasn't called," followed by a line of laughing face emojis.

Speaking after the result Olympian Nile said: "It's meant so much to me. I want to thank everyone who voted back home.

"If Dancing On Ice is anything other than entertainment – we've got 11 human beings of all different shapes and sizes stood on this stage with an allocated time to get good at something.

"We've proved that we can do it, and what an inspirational show.

"If you work hard and you put your mind to it, you can achieve anything you want to."

Meanwhile, Vanessa and Joey look set to be pulled miles apart as he will return home to Essex while she heads home to Berlin. The pair have reportedly fallen for each other over the course of the current 15th season.
