At least six killed and several in critical condition after Westfield shopping centre attack in Sydney

According to Anthony Cooke, who is the assistant commissioner of New South Wales Police Force, a person went inside a building, left, and then came back at around 3:20 in the afternoon. The individual then went through the building and talked to nine people.

Mr Cooke stated that one police inspector was present at the scene and promptly responded. This inspector proceeded to enter the central area as per guidance from multiple individuals.
