Thieves have attacked the residence of Joelinton, the soccer player from Newcastle United.

Police officials from Northumbria were alerted at around 7:30pm Greenwich Mean Time on Saturday night.

The resident, whose identity the authorities have chosen to keep private, informed them that a group of three people was present within their Darras Hall residence located in Northumberland.

According to a representative from the authorities, "Luckily, the owner of the property was not present at the time, but they had received a notification on their mobile device regarding the security breach and promptly informed law enforcement officials of any suspicions."

The police sent their officers to the residence, but they found out that whoever had been present there had already departed, according to the statement made by the authorities.

During that moment, St James' Park hosted a match between Newcastle and Manchester City.

At the moment, Joelinton is injured, but he was present at the stadium.

This incident occurred just a few weeks following a trespass at the residence of Manchester City athlete, Jack Grealish.

Burglars broke into his residence on December 27th when he was competing against Everton in Liverpool.

The Police of Northumbria is requesting that anyone who has data relevant to the matter, should get in touch with them pronto.
