Liam Gallagher has shared that he is currently focusing on improving his health in order to reverse the damage caused by years of partying. He has been dealing with arthritis and fighting against an autoimmune disease.

The vocalist of Oasis, who is aged 51, mentioned that his years of consuming alcohol and drugs are finally taking a toll on him. However, he shared that nowadays he leads a radically changed lifestyle.

Liam mentioned that he now wakes up every day at 4am with the intention of leading a more wholesome and healthy lifestyle.

Throughout his time with Oasis, he was known for his love of partying, but over the years he has struggled with various health concerns.

Let's take a glimpse at the range of health difficulties Liam Gallagher has faced in the past few years, starting from undergoing a significant hip surgery to coping with psoriasis that made him wear gloves all day long at home.

Arthritis is a health issue that can sometimes lead to the need for a hip replacement. This surgical procedure involves replacing a damaged or worn-out hip joint with an artificial one. The goal is to improve mobility, reduce pain, and increase overall quality of life for the patient. Arthritis is a condition that typically causes inflammation of the joints, which can lead to joint damage over time. When the hip joint becomes too damaged, it can cause significant pain, stiffness, and limited range of motion. For some patients, non-surgical treatments like medications or physical therapy may help manage these symptoms. However, for others, surgery may be the best option. Hip replacement surgery involves removing the damaged cartilage and bone in the hip joint and replacing it with a prosthetic device. This new joint is designed to move smoothly, just like a natural, healthy hip would. With proper care and rehabilitation, most patients are able to regain their mobility, reduce their pain, and enjoy a better quality of life after surgery. If you are experiencing hip pain and mobility limitations due to arthritis, it is important to discuss your options with a qualified orthopedic surgeon. They can help determine whether hip replacement surgery is the best course of action for you, and can answer any questions or concerns you may have about the procedure.

On X, which was formerly known as Twitter, he informed his followers that he had gone through a hip surgery last week. He mentioned that everything went well and expressed his gratitude towards the doctors and nurses who took care of him. He also gave a shout-out to the "A team" for ensuring his safe return home.

During an interview with MoJo Magazine in June of 2022, the individual expressed that their hips were in poor condition. Arthritis has heavily affected the individual, leading to a visit to a medical professional who found that their bones were severely damaged.

When undergoing hip replacement surgery, the affected hip area is substituted with a prosthetic implant, and the rehabilitation period usually lasts for about six weeks.

The woman was told that she may require a hip replacement surgery. However, she refused to undergo the operation. She believed that enduring the pain was a better option, though she knew that this was illogical. Instead, she should have chosen to have the problem resolved through the surgery.

However, the shame of admitting that you have undergone hip replacement surgery is also a factor. It's crucial to mention that the discomfort keeps me up at night, and I can't rest peacefully as I'm constantly twisting and turning.

I am currently taking herbal sleeping pills and they have greatly improved my life. One of the pills allows me to sleep uninterrupted for a full seven hours, with no discomfort or issues.

The cause of his arthritis was due to a thyroid condition known as Hashimoto's disease. This condition results in the immune system attacking the affected area of the body.

If not taken care of, it can result in the swelling of the vocal cords, causing a rough voice.

I had a challenging time dealing with psoriasis because people mistook it for cocaine use. It was difficult to convince them otherwise and I felt misunderstood. The struggle was real but I had to keep reminding myself to stay strong and focus on my healing journey.

Liam shared his health struggles on social media in November 2020. He disclosed that he had been fighting psoriasis and had started wearing gloves inside his house.

This happened after he had shared three years prior about a fan mistaking his skin condition for cocaine.

In 2017, when he was speaking to Noisey, he recalled how he had his clothes stolen right after coming off stage. Additionally, he had an unusual encounter with a peculiar young person who approached him, believing that he had cocaine in his hair.

He said, "I have psoriasis, a skin condition that causes scaly, itchy rashes. I must have been scratching it throughout the day, and there were small white pieces and debris."

"They were removing it from my hair and placing it on their gums or snorting it."

Liam posted on social media in November 2020 that he had been struggling with psoriasis, and as a result, he started wearing gloves in his own home. The picture included was from 2022.
