Orpheus Pledger: Home And Away star accused of assault arrested after manhunt

Australian media reports state that Orpheus Pledger, who used to star on Home And Away, was taken into custody after a three-day search by the police.

According to a report from Sky News Australia, a lady has charged a 30-year-old person for assaulting her. The individual was scheduled to attend Melbourne Magistrates Court on Tuesday to face the accusations.

On Monday, the person who acts in movies was given permission to be released from jail for a medical evaluation that was ordered by a court. Additionally, the court instructed them to appear in court again the following day.

After his absence, the Victoria Police initiated a warrant for his detention and reached out to the community for assistance in locating him.

Reports from ABC News and Sky News Australia indicate that Pledger was found and apprehended by the Victoria Police on Thursday evening.

He has been accused of assaulting a woman and is currently facing four charges related to this incident.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, Craig McMahon, the manager of Pledger, confirmed that he had not been able to speak with his client lately. He added that the accusations of assault had caught him off guard.
