Numerous stations on the London Underground are shut down due to a strike organized by Tube employees who are protesting against their working terms and conditions.

The TSSA's customer service managers are participating in a work stoppage.

The union had issued a warning that stations might shut down unexpectedly. By 7:00am BST, seven stations were identified as closed on Transport for London's website.

According to the TSSA union, starting this Friday, there will be a prohibition on working overtime until the 5th of May.

TfL expressed their disappointment with the strike that took place.

At 3:00 pm British Summer Time, three railway stations were shut down as a result of the strike.

Earlier this month, the TSSA union engaged in a strike that the general secretary claimed "produced a tangible effect".

Maryam Eslamdoust, the general secretary of the union, stated that the members had no choice but to proceed with another strike.

After the strike on Friday, there will be a restriction on working overtime until May 5th.

According to a representative from TfL, they do not anticipate major disturbances as a result of this action. Nevertheless, they encourage TSSA to collaborate with them to seek a solution.

Patrons have the option to verify the most recent service revisions on the official website of Transport for London.
