In April 2023, O'Brien shared with PEOPLE that she faced difficulty in producing sufficient milk to breastfeed her baby, Max, during his infancy.
When we had Max, I fully intended to breastfeed, but I soon realized that my milk production was not adequate," she explained. "For a few weeks, I stressed myself out, attempting to make it work, but eventually we resorted to formula and had to experiment with various types until we found the best one."
The pair initially struggled to achieve harmony in their approach to parenthood, but they have since discovered that their methodologies complement each other effectively.

Shai exhibited poor sleeping habits from the get-go, which led Josh to jest on Instagram about his apparent disdain for slumber. To cope, the baby's caretakers took turns getting up to feed him whenever he stirred during the wee hours of the night, resulting in trying and tiresome evenings for them both.
According to Josh's interview with Distractify, he and his household were shifters. As a result, Josh would retire to the guest bedroom between the hours of 1 AM to 6 AM in order to catch some rest or have a moment of tranquility due to his work schedule.
"After some time passed, my son started waking up at 6 am and would come to join me in watching children's shows like Sesame Street or cartoons in our guest room," he added. "Eventually, he expressed to me how much he appreciated the fact that this was my personal space."
