Hong Kong

The government has issued a typhoon warning in Hong Kong, leading to a delay in the morning trading session. The current signal stands at No. 8.

Hong Kong Exchanges & Clearing stated on Friday that if a typhoon Signal No. 8 or higher is still in effect or if any notice of severe weather conditions is announced at 9:00 a.m. (Hong Kong Time), the morning trading sessions for all markets will be called off.

According to HKEX, if the indication or any declaration of severe circumstances is revoked prior to midday, trading will recommence in the securities and derivatives markets during the afternoon.

The stock market has announced that if a typhoon signal No. 8 or any notification about severe conditions are still in effect at noon, all trading sessions will be called off.
