HK Express flight giveaway opens on Tuesday, with free fares from Hong Kong to Japan, South Korea, Taiwan

HK Express, the airline company, will begin its complimentary flight offering at 10:30 am next Tuesday. This initiative includes round-trip tickets to several attractive countries like Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam, and Taiwan. This program is the most recent step taken to revitalize the tourism industry and combat the lingering effects of Covid-related travel limitations.

Available to residents of Hong Kong, HK Express is offering a promotion where they are distributing 21,626 free tickets to 19 different Asian locations. This special offer runs from July 11 to July 24 and is granted based on a first-come, first-served arrangement. Successful applicants will be responsible for covering all applicable charges including taxes, surcharges, and any other relevant fees.

Flight reservations should be made using a specific website.

The places you can travel to include Narita and Haneda airports in Tokyo, Osaka, Fukuoka, Nagoya, Takamatsu, Kagoshima, and Okinawa in Japan. In South Korea, you can visit Seoul, Busan, and Jeju. Thailand offers destinations like Bangkok, Chiang Mai, and Phuket. Vietnam has Da Nang and Nha Trang on offer, while Taiwan has Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung.

The Airport Authority Hong Kong has launched the "World of Winners" promotion as part of their campaign. They are providing flights to boost tourism after the pandemic, with a total of 500,000 tourists and 80,000 residents being offered this incredible opportunity.

Individuals who emerged as champions in the previous stages of the giveaway revealed to HKFP that the taxes imposed upon them were considerably higher than initially anticipated.

The giveaway on Tuesday is the initial one targeted specifically at individuals residing in Hong Kong, while another giveaway by Hong Kong Airlines is set to take place from July 24 to August 25. In the month of April, Cathay Pacific, the leading airline, offered complimentary round-trip tickets to individuals living in the Greater Bay Area.
