At 42 years old, the well-known vocalist is set to take part in the upcoming season of Dancing on Ice, following a difficult year. Sadly, her previous bandmate Paul Cattermole passed away at the age of 46 due to natural causes. This event was followed by her decision to withdraw from the SClub reunion tour and the publication of her candid autobiography, Facing the Music, in which she recounts her life.

What, How, And Why?

During her appearance on the talk show Loose Women, she stated that SClub would never be the same due to her departure. She expressed that it was simply not the opportune moment for her to carry on as an SClub member. The group consisted of other members such as Tina Barrett, Jon Lee, Bradley McIntosh, Jo O'Meara and Rachel Stevens.

After Cattermole's passing and departure from the tour, Spearritt acknowledged that it was difficult for her because she had committed to writing the book. She expressed that the timing of the project was not ideal and reflecting on past experiences was challenging in light of recent events.

Hannah Spearritt has decided to tackle the daring task of participating in Dancing on Ice, an ITV program.

The celebrity mentioned that she almost quit writing the book, but she pushed herself to continue because she wanted to meet the challenge she had established. She added that the book was quite challenging to write. She started working on it before her time with SClub and before certain events happened that year. It wasn't the topic she had expected to write about, and she even considered abandoning the project. However, she didn't want to give up on herself and her goal. She found it difficult to revisit and revise the material repeatedly.

More Loose Women Highlights?

The television show Dancing on Ice recently featured a photo of Hannah Spearritt and her significant other, Andy Buchanan. The couple looked happy and in love in the picture. The show is broadcasted on ITV.

Before the beginning of Dancing on Ice this weekend, Spearitt also talked about her participation in the reality show. Christine Lampard, the host of Loose Women, acknowledged that doing the program seemed intimidating. However, she was eager to clarify, "I'm not saying this to discourage you in any manner."

The celebrity from SClub7 confirmed that ice skating can pose a risk to one's safety. She cautioned that she had almost encountered accidents while skating before, emphasizing that caution is key. She elaborated, "Keeping safe should be top priority. I have experienced close calls while skating. It's critical to be careful."

Nadia Sawalha, a participant of Dancing on Ice back in 2011, recently shared her ordeal with the show. According to her, it was pretty simple to get injured while on the ice. She revealed, "Falling on the ice hurts more than falling on the pavement. In fact, it's tougher than concrete." Sawalha was the initial contestant to exit the competition, and she amusingly added that after her first fall, she never let go of her partner's hand again.

Spearitt made a playful comment where she claimed that she held onto her partner tightly, comparing herself to a small koala, as a way to prevent herself from falling. She humorously revealed that her muscles had been inactive or out of practice for quite some time before participating in the show, causing some difficulty with the demanding physical aspect of it.

The complete list of participants for Dancing on Ice 2024 has been announced, along with confirmation of the show's start date and Holly Willoughby's return as the host.
