Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Levi Roots evicted from Celebrity Big Brother house

Ekin-Su Culculoglu and Levi Roots have been kicked out of the Celebrity Big Brother abode.

Roots, who is a well-known personality from Dragons’ Den, was removed on Friday and shortly after the champion of Love Island 2022 faced the same fate.

Several celebrities such as Louis Walsh, David Potts and Fern Britton formerly on X-Factor, reality TV and This Morning respectively, were up for a possible eviction from the house. The housemates were required to nominate the contestant they wished to eliminate by kissing them on the face.

The Turkish celebrity from a reality TV show called Culculoglu stated that she sensed her co-participants thought she wasn't being genuine throughout her stint on the program.

During an appearance on the Late and Live segment of Celebrity Big Brother on ITV after being eliminated, she expressed: "I believe that individuals were unaware that I was expressing my true self, and I don't believe that they could connect with me in the same way as if I were being authentic."

The lady who is 29 years old expressed that she believed it was equitable due to her history on Love Island. However, she also stated that it is not appropriate to evaluate someone solely based on their previous actions.

Her statement was that life is unpredictable and winning Love Island does not guarantee victory in every competition.

Winning a competition or gaining some sort of recognition once does not guarantee continuous success. Having a group of followers also does not ensure constant triumph.

She made these remarks after a lot of stress occurred in the house on Thursday due to Culculoglu getting nominated by her companion, Marisha Wallace, who is renowned in the theatre industry.

According to Wallace, if you make it to the final with him, you're guaranteed to win over the public's support.

"I am aware that in a direct competition, you have a significant fanbase. You have previous experience in playing these games and have the ability to emerge victorious. If I aspire to win against you, I am certain I lack the capacity to do so."

The celebrity expressed surprise, stating: "I anticipated this event. They are simply judging me based on my previous appearance on a show."

She stated: "You've been acting like you're close to me all this while, so you mean you're not genuine towards me this whole time?"

Wallace responded by expressing that she did not sense she had been so.

During his appearance on Late and Live after being evicted, Roots mentioned that there were "numerous differences of opinion".

The famous chef from Britain and Jamaica, known for inventing Reggae Reggae Sauce, shared his opinion by saying: "I reckon some people knew how to succeed while others like me were clueless about the tricks of the trade."

I personally believe that it is not an environment conducive to honesty. Being truthful in that setting may not be a viable option.

"I attempted to be truthful, yet I am only capable of being my authentic self - Levi Roots."

He stated that there is a division based on ageism, and mentioned the team members who were part of his squad which included Ekin-Su, Louis, Marisha and Zeze (Millz).

Sharing his experience on the program, he expressed: "I have never shed so many tears before, it seemed like I was constantly crying."

I expressed that I longed for my mother, and I believe that having Sharon Osbourne around reminded me of her. Whenever I caught sight of her, it felt like my mother was present, and I had to resist the urge to become emotional.

"When I removed all the obstacles that were hindering me, including my tough Rasta persona, I discovered that I was not as resilient as I thought."

Culculoglu and Roots connected with Walsh at the residence and each referred to him as being truthful.

Before they were kicked out on Friday, during a chat with the duo, Walsh revealed that he had been diagnosed with an uncommon form of blood cancer.

Sharing his personal encounter during the COVID-19 quarantine, Walsh expressed, "I fell ill, and I believe that no one was aware of my ailment."

I was not aware of having it until I visited the hospital. The medical professionals conducted plentiful examinations that ultimately led to the discovery of it.

According to their account, it is an uncommon occurrence.

Last Thursday, Culculoglu put forward Walsh's name to be evicted from the house. However, later on, after Walsh had left, Culculoglu expressed her regret about this decision. She mentioned that nominating Walsh was the thing she disliked the most during her stay on the show and even revealed her wish for Walsh to emerge as the winner.
