Love Island's Davide Sanclimenti shouted out support for his girlfriend Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu after she looked upset to land in the skate-off in the first week of the new series of Dancing On Ice. Ekin-Su, who won the ITV2 reality dating contest Love Island with her man last summer, took to the ice for a "seriously hot performance" to Toxic by Britney Spears in a sheer outfit.
Afterwards, host Holly Willoughby gasped: "That may have been the sexiest performance we've ever had on Dancing on Ice." And judge Oti Mabuse said the performance was "hot, hot, hot from the outfit to the hair to the makeup."
However, she failed to top the leaderboard in Dancing On Ice with 21.5 out of a possible 40 points from the judges. After the public vote she now faces a skate-off in next Sunday's episode of the skating competion with one of the next batch of celebrities.

Eagle-eyed fans watching at home thought they clocked Italian businessman Davide, from Manchester, mouth an expletive after the shock announcement that Ekin-Su would be in the first skate-off of 2023. Turkish actress Ekin-Su, who has been paired with Brendyn Hatfield on the 15th series, told presenters Holly and Phillip Schofield that she had fought back from illness to be there.
"I'm just sad. But it's fine," said Ekin-Su, who is was explained had suffered from a fever. And Holly reassured her: "You're a tough girl." "I've been really ill. I've just got back up," she added.
Viewers took to Twitter to remark on a "fuming" looking Davide, who was cheering her on from the audience. They thought he had made a sweary response to the result before shouting out "come on baby" as Ekin-Su left the ice.
@Kilbybooty tweeted: "Ekin-Su's shock and confusion, and Davide clearly mouthing WTF." @GeekGirlManners exclaimed: "NOT DAVIDE SAYING WTF WHILE THE CAMERA WAS ON HIM!" And @kay__tweets gasped: "Omg Davide is fuming."

Davide saying come on baby & clapping while she skates off you’ve got this Ekin!!" and @mightymidge1987 pointed out: "Davide shouting 'cmon baby' had me no way Ekin su deserved to be bottom 2."
During her ice dance she recreated the pulse-racing moment she crawled across the Love Island terrace for kisses with newcomer Jay Younger behind Davide's back early in their relationship, but they got their relationship back on track and are still going strong.
Holly asked Davide in a cheeky moment on the show: "How fit was your Mrs?" And he replied with a grin: "Looking forward to the home. She was wonderful, very beautiful. I was proud of her."
