The club that was promoted to the Championship last season dismissed Xisco Munoz last week as he was unable to secure any victory in his 10 league games as the manager.

Rohl has stepped into his initial leadership position after serving as a subordinate at RB Leipzig, Southampton, Bayern Munich, and the German national squad.

Currently, Sheffield Wednesday sits at the very bottom of the Championship table, only gaining three points from the total of 11 games played thus far. Last Saturday's match, where the team had a stalemate against Huddersfield, was overseen by the U21s manager, Neil Thompson.

Rohl has just become the EFL's newest manager, at a young age that makes him even younger than Bradford City's caretaker Kevin McDonald. In fact, he's the 11th permanent boss for Wednesday's in the last 12 years, which shows just how quickly things can change in football management.

During his first press conference held on Friday, Rohl declared that he has been getting ready for this occurrence for the past decade and is thrilled that it has finally become a reality. He feels fully equipped for the job and possesses a definite philosophy and identity. His clarity of mind regarding these matters is precisely what led him to this position. Defining a clear way of playing is of utmost significance for him, as he intends to establish the identity of the team.

I'm really happy to be here at this incredible stadium. I visited this place for the first time yesterday, and I could sense the great ambiance and positive vibes right away.

Our club has an incredibly large number of supporters. After checking out some promotional videos, I could really feel the enthusiasm surrounding this organization. The level of passion here is truly remarkable, and it provides an excellent platform on which to build and embark on an exciting new chapter with this team.

After encountering numerous injuries during his playing career in lower-league football, the German decided to transition into coaching at RB Leipzig. Following this, he gradually progressed to working with the first-team under Ralph Hasenhuttl, and subsequently joined him at Southampton.

In 2019, Rohl left his previous employer and joined Bayern Munich. He served under the guidance of first Hansi Flick and later Niko Kovac. Subsequently, he followed Flick and started working for the German national team.

Flick got fired in September after losing 4-1 against Japan, while Rohl was also let go.

His new assignment involves maintaining Wednesday's spot in the Championship, and he will draw on his previous experience with Southampton during their stint in the Premier League relegation territory when Hassenhuttl was hired in 2018.

Rohl expressed that the experience he gained from working with Southampton in a similar circumstance was quite beneficial. His assistance helped the team avoid relegation. He stated that it is now our responsibility to demonstrate our desires to them.

This blog post is all about emphasizing the importance of playing style over tactical jargon. As a coach myself, I strongly believe in my team's abilities and mindset. Instead of getting bogged down in specific systems or formations, we should focus on how we want to approach the game as a cohesive unit. By prioritizing our unique playing style, we can maximize our potential and achieve success on the field.

I wish to be a forward player. Our goal is to play with fierce determination, and it is essential for our game to be highly intense. We have to exert ourselves vigorously to achieve this. These are my requirements and I will settle for nothing less.

On Wednesday, the club's manager, Darren Moore, departed from the team in the summer after leading them to the Championship.
