Ammanford: Girl arrested after three injured in school stabbing

Law enforcement officials have taken a teenage girl into custody on charges of attempted murder due to a knife attack that resulted in three individuals being wounded in a school setting.

Dyfed-Powys Police reported that two instructors and a teenage student from Ysgol Dyffryn Aman in Ammanford were transported to a hospital with stab wounds that were not life-threatening.

Students at the school in Carmarthenshire were confined to their classrooms for roughly four hours after an unforeseen event occurred at 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday.

The authority stated that the detained female is still being held.

On Thursday, the school won't be open to support the police in their investigation of the occurrence. Pupils can choose to attend virtual lessons instead.
