Abhishek Sharma's impressive performance outshined that of the famous cricketer Travis Head. The dynamic gameplay of both Sharma and Head was brought to a close by Heinrich Klaasen who scored an unbeaten 80 off 34 balls. Thanks to Klaasen's contributions, SRH was able to break a record that had been in place for 11 years and claim the title of the team with the highest total in IPL from Royal Challengers Bangalore who had previously held the record since 2013.
Sharma went beyond David Warner's record of the quickest fifty by a SRH player, as he reached the 50-run landmark in only 16 deliveries, whereas Warner took 18. However, Head's accomplishment lasted only until Sharma ousted him by achieving the same feat 20 balls afterwards.
