Network Rail's RMT members agree to pay offer, bringing an end to protracted conflict.

Strike action

Numerous workers in the RMT labor union have agreed to a proposal made by Network Rail to resolve their prolonged conflict.

Almost 90% of the members participated in the voting, and a massive majority of 76% voted in favor while only 24% were against it. This means that the long-standing dispute regarding remuneration, employment, and terms is finally resolved.

According to the union, the agreement involves a raise in wages ranging from 14.4 percent for those earning the least to 9.2 percent for those earning the most.
