Fans of Netflix are extremely frustrated by a scene in the Prince Andrew documentary Scoop that they feel was not needed.

The latest film narrates the tale of the widely-known Newsnight dialogue when the royal member tried to detach himself from the indicted child molester, Jeffrey Epstein, back in 2019.

The movie has plenty of moments that get people talking. One of those moments shows a tower of stuffed animals that Prince Andrew supposedly kept on his bed at Buckingham Palace. But everyone seems to agree on one thing - there's a certain part of the movie that shouldn't have been included. This opinion is shared by everyone, except for Emily Maitlis, who hasn't seen the movie yet.

This part of the story occurs after the Newsnight interview, led by Maitlis (played by Gillian Anderson), has been recorded and is getting ready to be broadcasted on BBC Two.

Prince Andrew had initially planned to watch the interview but later decided to take a bath for some relaxation. However, he could still hear the ongoing feedback about the interview from his phone, which kept buzzing in the other room. While he got out of the tub, viewers were able to have a glimpse of his naked backside from behind.

A lot of people questioned if it was necessary to show Prince Andrew's naked backside on television. A journalist named Rob Lownie even remarked that while Rufus Sewell's performance was impressive, the script was too full of itself, and there was no real need to reveal the royal's bum.

Sewell discussed the scene and shared that he utilized a fake rear end, known as a prosthetic bum, during filming.

You can now watch Scoop on Netflix. This movie is based on the memoir of Sam McAlister, who used to work for Newsnight and arranged the interview with Prince Andrew.

Peter Moffat and Geoff Bussetil were the writers of Scoop. This movie features renowned actors Keeley Hawes, Romola Garai, and Connor Swindles from the popular TV show "Sex Education". You can check out The Independent's thoughts on the film by clicking here.

A competing production regarding Prince Andrew's Newsnight interview is being produced by Prime Video, with Maitlis supporting the project. Rather than Sewell and Anderson, the lead characters will be portrayed by Michael Sheen and Ruth Wilson.
