Jamie Carragher has suggested that Casemiro should consider moving to the MLS or Saudi Arabia following a disappointing performance during Manchester United's game against Crystal Palace. Carragher believes that this underwhelming display signifies Casemiro's decline in ability at the highest level of competition.

In their recent match, Manchester United suffered a devastating loss against a lively Crystal Palace squad. Despite being plagued by injuries, Erik ten Hag's team struggled to keep up with their opponents and were ultimately handed their worst Premier League defeat of the season at Selhurst Park.

Several defensive players were injured, which forced midfielder Casemiro to play as a center-back alongside Jonny Evans. However, the two had a hard time keeping up with Palace's front three players, Eberechi Eze, Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Michael Olise.

Casemiro, aged 32, had a difficult time during the match, especially when Olise was able to easily get past him and score the first goal for Palace. He was also tackled by Daniel Munoz in the events leading up to Palace's fourth goal of the evening.

In the absence of Bruno Fernandes, Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford, Casemiro took on the role of captain for United. However, his performance on the pitch was lacking, as compared to his previous achievements with Real Madrid, where he won five Champions League titles. Sky Sports pundit, Carragher, pointed out that the Brazilian player ought to recognize that he is no longer in his prime.

Casemiro is still under contract with United for another two years, as he signed for four years when he transferred from Real Madrid two years ago. Carragher, who used to play for Liverpool, suggested that United should consider getting rid of him.

During half-time, Carragher advised that Casemiro should be substituted. According to him, the experienced player should be aware that he only has three more games left at the top level - the next two league games and the upcoming FA Cup final. He suggested that the player should consider moving to the MLS or Saudi. Carragher's statements were made on Sky Sports.

I am not joking around. Either his representative or his entourage must inform him that this behavior has to come to an end. We are witnessing the talent of one of the most exceptional players in contemporary times, who has performed as one of the top midfielders in current times. He possesses the ability to control the midfield, which includes Kross and Modric, who could effortlessly compete against the Barcelona midfield we all cherished and admired.

I may not have accomplished as much as that man, but I always recall this one thing from my retirement. As a former footballer, I always kept this saying in mind - Quit while you're ahead. At present, football is no longer his forte in the big leagues. Therefore, it's best for him to end it here and transition to something else.

Casemiro was considered to be one of United's top players during the last season. He even scored a goal during the Carabao Cup final match against Newcastle held at Wembley. However, things have not gone as well for him during his second year at Old Trafford, as he has experienced a noticeable decline in performance.

The United squad is scheduled to play Arsenal and Newcastle in their home ground before concluding their participation in the Premier League with a match against Brighton. However, the team is now encountering a challenge to obtain the sixth position in the league because of Newcastle and Chelsea's resurgence in performance.

Later, Ten Hag's team will confront Manchester City in the FA Cup final on May 25th, just like last year's game that was won by Pep Guardiola's team.
