Evan Ndicka Collapses In Serie A Match; Taken To Hospital Conscious

The match between Roma and Udinese in Serie A has been cancelled due to a medical emergency.

During the 70th minute of the match, Evan Ndicka, one of Roma's defenders, fell suddenly on the field, causing the game to stop shortly thereafter.

Sky Italia has reported that Ndicka remained aware but was carried off on a stretcher. The referee, Luca Pairetto, conferred with both managers and ultimately made the call to halt the game approximately 10 minutes later.

At the moment of the event, the score was tied at 1-1 and Ndicka was transported to the hospital.

Roma made an announcement that due to an unexpected medical situation with Evan Ndicka during the match with Udinese, the game had to be stopped.

In the meantime, Udinese expressed their encouragement towards the defender with a heartfelt message.

The communication stated, "Ndicka, you have our support."

The team went to see Ndicka while he was admitted in the medical facility.

Evan's condition has improved and he is feeling positive. He will continue to stay at the hospital for additional monitoring.

Afterwards, he had a conversation with Pairetto and Gabriele Cioffi, his counterpart in Udinese. The two seemed empathetic towards the situation and hugged it out.
