Evan Ndicka, who plays as a defender for Roma, was hospitalized after fainting on the field during their Sunday match against Udinese in the Serie A. He is currently undergoing treatment to recuperate.

The match at Bluenergy Stadium was stopped after 72 minutes with a 1-1 score when the 24-year-old player from Ivory Coast fell down without any interference from other players.

Emergency medical personnel quickly responded to Ndicka's sudden collapse, leading to the determination that the game would not continue while he was transported to the hospital for further treatment.
