Israel Kills Three Sons & Four Grandchildren of Hamas Leader Ismail Haniyeh

Talks for a truce in Gaza are currently ongoing in Cairo while Israeli troops carried out an airstrike in the central region of Gaza, which led to the loss of the lives of three kids and four grandkids of Hamas's political chief, Ismail Haniyeh. After the attack, Haniyeh communicated with Al Jazeera to express his thoughts.

According to Ismail Haniyeh, there are individuals who think that killing or targeting leaders and their families will cause them to abandon their people and cease their resistance. He believes they are wrong and that this type of violence will only strengthen their determination to continue fighting for the freedom and lawful rights of the Palestinian people. He emphasizes that bloodshed, even if it affects his own children, will not deter them from their path to victory.

According to reports, Ismail Haniyeh's loved ones lost their lives while on the way to an event to celebrate the end of Ramadan. Israel's devastating attack on Gaza has brought a sense of gloom and sadness over the Eid festivities in the area which typically mark a time of joyous celebration.

According to Iman Al-Dah, their current lifestyle is not yet familiar to them and they do not expect to ever fully adjust to it. They are merely striving to adapt. This year's Eid celebration is lacking the usual traditions such as purchasing new clothing for the children and giving them money. There is no merriment. For those who have lost loved ones and homes, this Eid feels more like a day of ruin rather than a day of happiness.
