Gradually, more information is emerging about Jaguar's transformation into an electric brand starting in 2025. As per a recent report, Jaguar intends to develop three vehicles using the new electric platform JEA: a sleek GT designed to seat four individuals, a luxurious SUV, and a spacious sedan.

According to Autocar, a reputable British website, Jaguar's upcoming trio of electric models will have price tags ranging from £100,000 to £125,000 (€116,000 to €145,000). These vehicles will boast features like four-wheel drive, four-wheel steering, and fast-charging capabilities, allowing the batteries to reach 80% capacity within a mere 13 minutes. Furthermore, the power output for all three models is expected to be at least 336 kW, while the driving range will span from 385 to 475 miles (equivalent to 619 to 764 kilometers).

Based on details gathered by Autocar, Jaguar is set to unveil their four-door GT towards the conclusion of 2024, marking the debut of their new electric trio, with sales commencing in 2025. The remaining two electric vehicles are anticipated to be released at least one year apart. As per Autocar's insiders, Jaguar's forthcoming electric SUV will possess dimensions similar to the Bentley Bentayga, while the fresh e-sedan will be on par in terms of size with the Bentley Mulsanne.

As per the website, the desired sales goal for the newly launched Jaguar electric vehicles is set at 4,000 units every month. Unfortunately, the I-Pace will not be able to meet this target as it was recently revealed that Jaguar's sole existing electric model will gradually be discontinued by 2025. Consequently, the current head of JLR, Adrian Mardell, is altering the strategy that was previously put in place by his predecessor, Thierry Bolloré, who intended to continue offering the I-Pace alongside Jaguar's future electric models.

According to Mardell's recent conversation with Autocar, all the existing Jaguar models will need to be taken off the market by 2025 since they won't bear any resemblance to their upgraded versions. He specifically mentioned that with the introduction of our new JEA platform, there will be a significant and notable transformation for Jaguar. The intention is to avoid having a mix of older and newer designs; instead, they aim for a cohesive and consistent look across the Jaguar lineup.

There hasn't been any official information released about the new trio's design just yet. Insiders, as mentioned by Autocar, have revealed that the upcoming Porsches will have a more simplistic appearance. For instance, none of these cars will include a rear window, following a similar approach taken by Swedish electric car manufacturer Polestar. Furthermore, the iconic leaping Jaguar emblem will no longer be present, as it will be substituted by the word "Porsche".

In February of the year 2021, JLR made a declaration stating that starting in 2025, Jaguar will transform into a brand solely focused on electric vehicles.
