Dan Schneider, who was previously a producer for Nickelodeon, has responded to allegations about his conduct during his time at the children's network.

Schneiderm, who left the channel in 2018, uploaded an interview onto his YouTube channel where he talked about the accusations highlighted in a recently-released documentary series titled Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV.

In the documentary produced by Investigation Discovery, Drake Bell, a former Nickelodeon celebrity, revealed his claimed experience of sexual abuse when he was 15 years old.

During the TV show, Bell claimed that he had been mistreated by Josh Peck, who served as a speaking instructor for both All That and The Amanda Show on Nickelodeon.

Schneider, the mind behind popular TV shows such as Drake & Josh, iCarly, and Zoey 101, recently shared his thoughts about a particular series. He revealed that it was challenging for him to watch the documentary since it forced him to confront his past actions which he feels ashamed of and regrets.

That which was highlighted in the documentary, Schneider has been charged with allowing an unhealthy work environment and supposedly belittling the actors and crew who work on his productions.

During a 19-minute long video clip, he expressed to BooG!E, who played T-Bo in iCarly, that he needs to apologize to several individuals. He also stated that he feels remorseful that anyone worked for him and did not have an enjoyable experience.

According to Schneider, he used to feel overwhelmed by the responsibility of producing 40 or more episodes in a year. He believes that a competent leader should never succumb to such pressure.

According to Dan Schneider, requesting massages on the sets of Nickelodeon shows is inappropriate.

He added, "At times, I would get cranky with individuals and respond with sarcasm when I could have replied kindly. I neglected to give individuals adequate attention and rushed through conversations to move onto the next task on my list."

As Schneider watched the documentary, there were numerous moments where they felt compelled to reach out to certain individuals and express their apologies and desire to discuss the matter. The pain evident in peoples' eyes left Schneider feeling terrible, full of regret, and a deep sense of sorrow.

In the video, Schneider stated that he did not employ Peck, who was found guilty of committing a sexual assault on Bell back in 2004. This marks the initial acknowledgement of Bell being the victim in this case.

Schneider expressed his deep sorrow upon hearing Drake's account of the incident. He admitted that it affected him more than any setback he had experienced in his professional life. Additionally, Schneider conveyed his support to Bell, saying, "I'm available to help you in any way possible."

Schneider openly admitted to the accusations made against him about his improper request for massages during filming. He acknowledged that this behavior was inappropriate and expressed regret for putting individuals in such an uncomfortable position. He also expressed feeling ashamed about his past behavior and offered a sincere apology to anyone who has been affected by it.

Schneider initially worked as a performer and gained recognition for his portrayal of Dennis Blunden in Head of the Class. Afterwards, he took the initiative to develop All That, a sketch-comedy program for Nickelodeon, and subsequently took on the role of producer for Kenan & Kel.

He is recognized for jumpstarting the professions of big names like Ariana Grande, Amanda Bynes, and Kenan Thompson.
