Dan Schneider, a producer who previously worked for Nickelodeon, has expressed regret for his "shameful" behavior while working on the kids' channel.

A fresh film that came out earlier this week claims that for years, misconduct and improper conduct occurred during performances such as iCarly and Drake and Josh.

In 2018, it was discovered that Mr Schneider was mistreating employees at Nickelodeon through his words. As a result, he departed from the company.

He recently expressed that he needs to apologize deeply to a few individuals.

The four-part documentary series, Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Children's Television, presents multiple claims that Mr. Schneider engaged in inappropriate and sexual humor while on set.

Jenny Kilgen, a writer from the previous Amanda Show, claimed that Mr. Schneider requested a massage as a favor for her sketches to be featured in the show.

Kilgen mentioned that Dan used to joke about it. He would say it while laughing, but Kilgen sensed that if anyone disagreed with Dan or spoke up for themselves, they could lose their job.

Mr Schneider recently uploaded a fresh apology video on YouTube. He declared that viewing the series was quite challenging for him, as it made him confront his awkward and remorseful actions.

He stated that there are some people whom he needs to apologize to with great sincerity.

Mr. Schneider apologized specifically for the jokes he made in the writers' room which were inappropriate, admitting that it was an incorrect action on his part.

I want to express my apologies to anyone who found themselves in that circumstance. Furthermore, I would like to extend my apologies to those who were passing by the video village or any other location where the incident took place. I am aware that many individuals were present, and it is possible that they too experienced some discomfort.

Actor Drake Bell has claimed that he was sexually abused by former dialogue coach Brian Peck. Mr. Schneider had closely collaborated with Peck on All That and The Amanda Show, making this a significant revelation in the docuseries.

Peck was given a 16-month prison sentence back in 2004 after admitting to two cases of child abuse.

Mr Schneider expressed regret and apologised for the incident involving Peck and Mr Bell, acknowledging it as the most negative and regretful aspect of his professional life.

"He commented that while he was viewing the documentary, he could perceive the pain and anguish reflected in the eyes of certain individuals."

Mr. Schneider has apologized, but Nickelodeon hasn't responded yet.

In an earlier announcement concerning the docuseries, the network stated that it is unable to confirm or deny claims about conduct that took place in productions from several years ago. Nevertheless, the network does investigate all legitimate grievances as a policy.

The statement affirmed that the topmost concerns are the welfare and advantages of not only our staff, performers, and team members but all youngsters.
