Billie Eilish and her collaborator Finneas have achieved a significant accomplishment by winning their second Academy Award for Best Original Song. They were recognized for their outstanding contribution to the Barbie soundtrack with the breathtaking track titled “What Was I Made For”.

They recently won the highly sought-after music award in the year 2021 for their James Bond soundtrack "No Time to Die."

On Sunday (10 March), the pair was bestowed with an award at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Their acceptance of the award came directly after their performance of the song before their audience, which was filled with famous individuals.

At 22 years old, Eilish has achieved a remarkable feat. She has become the first artist since Celine Dion to win both Song of the Year and the Oscar for Best Original Song in the same year. Dion obtained the same accolades back in 1998 with her popular Titanic theme song, "My Heart Will Go On."

This implies that Eilish has accomplished something no other artist has in their lifetime, as Dion received her awards before Eilish was even born.

She has achieved a remarkable feat by winning both awards in one year, making her a part of a special circle of artists. The list includes talented songwriters Henry Mancini and Johnny Mercer, who were also able to achieve this accomplishment with their work on the songs "Moon River" and "Days of Wine and Roses" for the movies Breakfast at Tiffany's and Days of Wine and Roses, respectively. These two geniuses won the Oscar for Best Original Song in April of 1962, followed by the Grammy for Song of the Year just one month later.

There were other exceptional victors, such as Alan Menken and Tim Rice who composed the hit tune "A Whole New World" from the animated film Aladdin. It's the solitary melody from an animated movie to be presented with both awards. Additionally, Bruce Springsteen created his first-ever tune for a movie and won with "Streets of Philadelphia" during the 1994/1995 season.

During her time in the champion's quarters, Eilish discussed how when she was 12 years old, she watched Matilda on Broadway and convinced herself that she was unsuccessful.

Finneas and Billie Eilish have received the prestigious Oscar awards for the Best Original Song category.

"I felt really worried and discouraged as I thought that I would not achieve anything worthwhile since I am not a part of Matilda," she shared. "However, I suggest that you allow yourself some time, pursue your passions, and I understand that it may be challenging for some of us to identify our passions, but eventually you will discover them."

When Eilish received an award, she expressed gratitude towards her teachers in her speech. Later, while speaking to the winners' room, she advised young people to not be motivated by external factors like the opinions of others or achieving certain numerical goals. She suggested that this should not be the aim of anyone and emphasized the importance of doing things for oneself.
